///: Stories from the Studio :\\\
- From pencil work to acrylic and oil paintings, the midnight oil has been burning bright at my studio. I'm working hard to finish a pencil on canvas commission of an Octopus. But this wasn't any ordinary octopus, I recently tapped deep into the archives and found a octopus
that I photographed under the Blue Heron bridge years ago. An extremely rare moment with such a special creature. These memories serve as the inspiration for a piece like this.
- The second project is a commission of a tarpon jumping with the skyway bridge in the background.
With many hours spent at Egmont Key and Tampa Bay chasing Tarpon, this piece is easy to tap the memory bank and try to convey the rush of that first light tarpon flying through the air.
- Last on the easel is a commissioned oil painting of a an underwater bonefish mirage. The goal of this piece is to capture the mangrove and flat's atmosphere that you find these shallow water ghosts in. This piece is all about lighting, reflection, and dimension.

Dock life.
No time better spent as a kid fishing off a dock, learning how to bait your own hook, catch a little snapper or grunt, learn to handle the little fella without catch a spine or hook to the hand, and then safely releasing them back to grow. This is time well spent.

“THE FIRST WAVE” COLLECTION IS OUT!!
The first wave sets the tone for the day, and days here in Florida tend to be my favorite. The line was inspired by decades of early morning adventures, late evenings on the golf course, and a constant necessity for performance apparel that would outlast the salty heat. From Boca Grande to the Keys, from Mosquito Lagoon to the Indian River, I aimed to create simple essentials that pay homage to the coastal lifestyle we all enjoy. The tropical climate, classic colors, and our beloved fish are all represented here in the KScott First Wave Collection.
The features include everything from new light weight UV proof shirts, to performance polos, ultra-soft wovens, and updated hats and tees that you can dress up for any situation. I hope you all enjoy this collection half as much as I enjoyed making it.

This is what it’s all about. Getting to spend the day with Isla’s class teaching them art. Working together to create something incredible and passing down my love for the ocean. What an epic day. These kids crushed it!

This piece is from a trip with my wife . We went down to Costa Rica in search for her first catch and release. As soon as the leader was touched, I jumped in the water to get some reference. This fish was one to remember!
