Having just gessoed several canvases, I decided it was time for a break. I went to sit on the back deck. As I stepped out the door, I spied two autumn leaves suspended in an invisible thread of spider silk.
I wondered at the strength of that tiny thread, the spider that spun it, the form and the fact that it did not actually exist in anyone's perception or awareness except my own in that moment.

BREAKING NEWS! ART HEROES WEBSITE ARE ART THIEVES!

The bad news is my work is being sold by an UNAUTHORIZED third party web site in Germany, called "Art Heroes". This company has now grabbed three of pieces and is offering prints for $100-$500 US Dollars without offering the artist a dime. They say my work is popular.
The worst part is that two of the pieces, "Light People" and "Hunter's Dawn" are entrusted to my nephew as part of my legacy collection.
I will be contacting a lawyer. I have sent a cease and desist letter from my own desk. But it would help greatly if everyone who reads this EXPOSES this FRAUD and lets them know they are NOT getting away with it. DON'T BUY!!! SHUT THEM DOWN!
