Hi, this is from Jim McDermott. I joined the Lake Area Community Orchestra back in January 1993. It has allowed me to continue to play the French Horn that I love so much. LACO is still going strong and our Summer concert season starts the Tuesday after Memorial day. There will be nine opportunities to hears the group in venues all over central Missouri.
This year we are starting a Patron Sponsorship program. If you would like to find out how you can be a 2025 Summer Patron, check out the form below. You can fill it in and email it to me or use the US Mail. Thanks for helping to keep music alive for many of us old timers and for several new musicians as well.

French Horns, Percussionists and Tubas are especially welcome to join us, but we invite all with musical acumen in wind orchestra instruments to take part!
