The Arts Council of Lake Oswego works to ensure the arts are an integral part of life in our community, now and into the future, with the purpose of placement & preservation of public art, providing access to exhibitions, and advancing lifelong learning.

The Arts Council of Lake Oswego announces What We (Be)Hold, a group exhibition guest curated by Kendra Roberts on view from August 7th– October 30th, 2026.

What We (Be)Hold presents artworks that embrace the spirit of what holds our focused attention, wonder, or spiritual contemplation, as well as what we keep close.

What We (Be)Hold invites you to consider what it means to find connection, responsibilities, and sources of wonder in a shared world through diverse artistic perspectives displayed in a mix of mediums and vibrant colors. Together, these combined works offer a multifaceted view of individualized experiences, encouraging us to examine not only what we behold, but also how we hold ourselves and one another.

Join us Sunday, September 27th for the 2026 Gallery Without Walls celebration. We'll be at the Cultural Xchange at Millennium Plaza Park from 11am - 6pm.

Guided docent tours at noon—see this year's new sculptures & meet the artists. To register for a docent tour, click the link in our bio. FOMO alert: these tours will fill up, so don't delay.

We'll be presenting this year's People's Choice Award to artist Ben Dye at 2:45. Come celebrate PUP with the artist!

We'll also have free kids' coloring pages, volunteer opportunities, and more. Stop by, say hi to Nicole, Sarah, Eric, and the rest of the ACLO team!

If you haven't grabbed your 2026 LO Wine Walk pass, here's your reminder. This is one of the biggest social events of the season, you won't want to miss it. And if you've got your pass, make sure you stop at the Arts Council, a.k.a. the Best Stop of the Wine Walk.

Artspace Gallery is proud to be hosting our friends at again this year. The T&CD team always have a fantastic charcuterie spread for Wine Walkers, not to mention booklets, brochures, magazines, and every other form of information about the hottest & coolest travel destinations. They'll also be bringing their greatest asset: the Travel & Cruise Desk staff themselves! Jamie, Caitlin, and more travel advisors & experts will be on hand to answer questions and otherwise demonstrate why their hands-on planning and concierge services are your top choice for booking travel of any kind.
