Hello to everybody who has liked my page. It’s been an unfortunate way to start this new chapter with a bout of influenza specialists say will take another 4-6 weeks to recover from if all goes well.
So I’ve thought to keep things entertaining and lively I’d post previously unpublished ramblings of my days gone by.
They come in various forms letters, poems, verse. At one time I thought some were song worthy but alas.
Now my English teachers usually graded my work C+ “needs improvement “ so .....
Tonight’s piece is something I wrote to my kids post divorce cuz I wasn’t always there. Here goes.

Dad’s Wish
Every night before your dad goes to bed he looks up in the sky for a special star, his very own wishing star. He wishes that every morning you wake up safe and warm. He hopes that he can get you everything you need and most of the things you want. He hopes you know he’ll be there when you need him no matter when or why. He also hopes you know he loves you very much.
