We are beyond excited to officially welcome our Head of Makeup to the team at the Cassadaga Nightmare Hotel! Bunnie Marie

With over 28 years of professional experience in special effects and horror makeup, she brings an incredible level of talent, creativity, and passion that is going to take our characters and nightmares to an entirely new level this season.

With terrifying transformations our guests are about to experience some of the most immersive and horrifying visuals we’ve ever created. Her years of experience in the industry make her an amazing addition to our growing family of fear.

Please help us give her a HUGE welcome to the team!

Hidden above the hotel lies a forgotten place untouched by time… abandoned belongings, dust-covered memories, and a presence that has waited decades for someone to return. As you all know every year, we come up with a new theme for the haunt. Well, I am here to announce that will be changing. Introducing the new direction for the haunt for 2027 this is where we are headed.

For years, we changed themes.
New stories. New nightmares. New worlds.

But after this year… the fear takes a turn

This season at the Cassadaga Nightmare Hotel, the terror grows darker, more intense, and more connected than ever before. Evolution of Fear is not just another theme — it is the beginning of something much bigger.

After this season, we will begin expanding the story behind the hotel itself… the twisted owner who secretly uses the property as a testing facility where guests are kidnapped, tortured, and forced to experience their worst nightmares brought to life.

Instead of starting over every year, we are building a living nightmare that will continue to grow, evolve, and change with evolving scenes, characters, effects, and terrifying surprises each season.

With the unique challenge of operating inside a real working hotel, this new direction allows us to focus our creativity on making the experience more immersive, detailed, and more horrifying than ever before.

The hotel is changing.
The experiments are beginning.
