Wednesday evening I headed down to Shugrue’s to set up for my favorite event, , excited to see all of your sweet faces. Not long after, my dear friend walked in with her sweet boy, Cooper, carrying a beautiful bouquet of flowers for my birthday. I thought that alone was such a thoughtful surprise

But as we were packing up and getting ready to leave at the end of the night, Makenna appeared again, this time holding a birthday cake, followed by my small business babes, .littletreasures .barebathandbodyco , singing “Happy Birthday”

Whew, I fought hard to hold back the tears. It was completely unexpected, incredibly thoughtful, and something I’ll never forget 🥹

I’ve said it before, and I’ll never stop saying it: I absolutely LOVE the small business community I’m so honored to be a part of. What started as just vendor events trying to get my business name out there has turned into genuine friendships with some of the kindest, most supportive people I know

And to Makenna, thank you for always showing up for the people you care about. Your thoughtfulness, generosity, and the way you make others feel seen is such a gift. I’m so grateful our paths crossed and even more grateful to call you my friend. Thank you for making my birthday feel so special and for making me feel so loved 🤎
