A Lot Is Happening Behind the Scenes at Lake George Kids Carnival!
Even though the Lake George Kids Carnival is almost a year away, our work never stops!
As many of you know, the Kids Carnival is 100% funded by donations and made possible by volunteers and the incredible support of our community.
This past carnival was one for the books! Thanks to your generosity, we: Raffled 65 bicycles to children ages 3–10. Gave away 48 backpacks with school supplies—all gone in less than two hours! Introduced "door prizes" geared toward kids ages 11–16, and they were a huge success.
Every bike, backpack, and prize was made possible by generous community members and local businesses. We are especially grateful to the Miller Family (Millerville), who were our largest bicycle donor this year by donating an incredible number of bikes. Your kindness made a lasting impact on so many children.

Now we're already looking ahead to next year—and we have an ambitious goal: We want to double what we gave away in 2026!

So what are we working on behind the scenes?

• Silent auction items
• New backpacks for next year's giveaway

• Monetary donations to help make next year's carnival even bigger and better (used for rentals, games, snacks and more)

👻 We're also excited to be planning our 1st Annual Halloween Trunk or Treat on October 31st! Just like the Kids Carnival, this event will be completely funded by donations and powered by amazing volunteers. Yes... we know the kids carnival has just wrapped up. But events take planning!! Everything we do is by volunteer and donations only. Can we make this happen?

Lake George Kids Carnival is asking our community for help!
We are excited to announce that we have received approval to host our very first Halloween Bash on Saturday, October 31st, at the Town Hall!
We're looking for volunteers to help make this a fun, safe, and memorable event for our local children and families. We are currently seeking:
Volunteers to help with setup and cleanup.
Trunk or Treat participants.
Donations for spooky games and Halloween activities.
Community members who would like to lend a helping hand.
If you'd like to help create an amazing Halloween experience right here in Lake George, we'd love to hear from you! Together, we can make this a wonderful community event for everyone.

Yesterday was a warm day—not just because of the temperature, but because of the warmth and support shown by our community and the visitors who joined us.
This year, we tried a few new things during the Lake George Kids Carnival. Like anything new, we had a few hiccups and learning curves along the way, and we definitely could have used a few more volunteers. But together, we made it happen.
We estimate that approximately 1,100 people came through the Carnival yesterday—not just children, but entire families. It was incredible to see so many smiling faces enjoying the day.
Families traveled from all over to come play and have fun. We were able to raffle off 65 bikes, 16 fishing poles, and more than 20 water toys and floats. We gave away 48 back packs with school supplies!
None of this would be possible without the donations, contributions, and unwavering support from our community. The generosity shown by individuals, businesses, and organizations continues to amaze us. While we have listed many of our business donors below, we know there are countless community members who contributed their time, resources, and support, and we are grateful for every single one of you.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for helping us create lasting memories for so many children and families. The Lake George Kids Carnival truly is a community event, and it exists because of all of you.
