Rock the Dock Music Festival

It’s been a while but we finally were able to figure out the donation for the Lake George American Legion Post 374…
Well thanks to you all making this the largest Rock the Dock ever, we were able to donate the largest amount ever!
This year, y’all helped us raise $20,000 for the Legion for use in their scholarship fund and programs for local veterans and organizations!

In return Chief Warrant officer 4 Gary F. Vernum and his wife Angie was kind enough to give us a check for $1000 for a donation to my dad’s memorial golf tournament to go to the Mountainside Free Library in Dunham Bay!

So thank you to everyone of you who bought tickets and help to support these great folks and this tremendous organization!

I am putting on my father's memorial Golf Tournament again on Sunday, August 30!
All proceeds will go to benefit the Mountainside Library which is a totally free and historic library that was built in 1904 on Route 9L near Dunham Bay!

It is staffed by a group of local volunteers and is only funded through donations!
Last year we raised $9,500 for this Library and I hope that this year we could have enough teams to raise a little more money for this little gem!

This year's festival was absolutely incredible!
From the incredible bands, to the fantastic sponsors and towns that supported us, the craft vendors and food trucks, and everyone else who volunteered and worked the festival help to make this event the largest RTD ever!!

One of those people who helped out, was Frankie Cavone and his crew at Mirth Films! Here is the recap video they made for us by Josh Janes and it really captured the vibe from this year's event!

Now we have some things to work on, but we are already looking forward to Rock The Dock 2027!

This year's Rock the Dock Music Festival was by far the biggest and most successful festival we've ever had and I just want to thank everyone who helped out to make it such a success!

I would like to personally thank everyone who was involved in helping to put this event on!

Thank you to Dark Star Orchestra for headlining our little festival! And thank you to Creamery Station, Neon Avenue, Annie in the Water, Strange Machines, and Spafford for squeezing in and putting on one heck of a show for everyone!!

Thank you to Roger Sharp and everyone at High Peaks Event Production who set up the stages and sound! Without you this wouldnt be happening!

Thank you to all of the craft vendors and food trucks who participated this year! Thank you for giving our guests some tasty food and cool stuff to take home with them!

Thank you to everyone who participated in the street team and pounded the pavement and hung up fliers for me!

Thank you to Frank Cavone and Mirth Films for photographing everything! These are all him and his crew's photographs!

And a big thank you to all of our staff here at the Lake George Steamboat Company. You all worked so hard at this event and I cant thank you enough for everything you did!
Ive heard that some of our employees felt like I was blaming you in yesterday's video, but there is nothing further from the truth. I (Luke) put you all in an impossible position because of my lack of foresight for we can handle 3100+ people, but you all did great during such a hectic event, I could not be more proud of you all. Thank you for helping me put this festival on!

And finally, I want to thank everyone who came to our festival! 3100+ people from all over the northeast came to our pier to enjoy this festival and it is because of you this festival was such a success!!
I know the lines were tough, but it warmed my heart to see all the smiles and people enjoying themselves!
I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for attending!
That said, I promise to do better next year so that the lines will not be such an issue.

I am shutting down comments on here because we have had numerous people come up to the front gate with FAKE TICKETS after they got SCAMMED!

These people say they have tickets but they DO NOT!! THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!!

We already have had people scammed out of their money and we cant do anything about it.
Please dont be another victim!!
