THE COWARDLY LION, Volume VII, Chapter XV

As in some sort of emotional and physical vortex, the characters aboard and ashore of the World Discoverer expedition ship, begin to swirl with a life almost all of their own, only subject to my occasional adjustments while I now begin to wonder how the mission could be gotten back to as my prime objective, when, as when I was down in the A Shau Valley, my most primary thoughts had to be about surviving on a very short fused timely basis. And it was becoming apparent that members of the crew were going to have to somehow be motivated and 'read in' to help me or there would be no chance of success...or even undertaking and attempt at success.
