Hank making a surface change to his DV8 Intense Collision.

Applying a 1000-grit finish completely transforms the ball’s reaction, prompting him to move an entire arrow left after the adjustment.

Brient testing out the new DV8 Intense Collision.

The two balls that he compares are both Intense Collisions, but they are drilled differently. Both have the same PIN-to-PAP length; however, one is pin-down and the other is pin-up.

The contrast between these two layouts is illustrated by the overlay at the conclusion of the video. Brient can be slightly farther left and get the ball slightly farther right with the pin-up layout, as you can see.

Brunswick Infinity Quest Pearl vs. Brunswick Strategy comparison.

As you may have noticed, you're getting a very similar amount of performance from the Infinity Quest Pearl as you would get from the Strategy, but at a price point that is $25 cheaper.

This comparison also highlights the effects of Brunswick's HK22C²; as you can see, the 2 balls with relatively similar RGs have a noticeably different mid-lane reaction. The Strategy's HK22C² is a marvel of innovation in coverstock technology. The Strategy's clean/mid-lane/sharp-type ball reaction is just not something you can look back in time for and find easily.

The new Infinity Quest Pearl by Brunswick.

Very similar to the Brunswick Strategy, but slightly longer and slightly weaker.

Even though this is a strong skid/flip type ball reaction, it is still very controllable and predictable. Similar shape to the Zero Mercy Pearl, but less overall motion down-lane. In exchange, you get more control and versatility.
