Racers, here’s your quick-reference guide to the fees required to race.

All racers are responsible for the following:

Armband Admission — Weekend or daily admission.
Pit Pass — Required for access to the pits/ camping area.
Track Membership Fee — Helps support SCSDA and allows us to continue hosting events in Lake Elsinore.
Safety Fee — Required for adult racers only. This fee goes directly to Motorsports Safety Solutions for the incredible work they do to help keep everyone safe.
Class Entry Fee(s) — Required for each class you choose to compete in.

Where to pay: Your Armband Admission and Pit Pass must be purchased at the front gate before entering the track. All remaining fees can be paid at the Registration/Timeslip Booth after you have completed Tech Inspection.

SCSDA is excited to add a high-octane specialty class to Saturday’s lineup: the $2,000 Winner-Take-All Larry Minor Motorsports vs. Whipple Sand Jeeps Shootout!

The Shootout will feature two sides of the ladder — one dedicated to Larry Minor Motorsports Jeeps and one to Whipple Sand Jeeps. Racers will battle through each side of the bracket until one champion remains on each side.

Those two finalists will then face off in the Grand Finale: Minor vs. Whipple, with the winner taking home the entire $2,000 purse!

All you need is a Larry Minor Motorsports or Whipple Sand Jeep to compete.
$50 buy-in, pro light, open bracket with dial-ins.

The SCSDA Fall Nationals Presented By: Lake Elsinore Casino is set to send sand flying high in the sky and echoes of the roar of engines throughout the Lake Elsinore Valley on October 2nd - 4th.

The quickest and fastest sand cars and ATVs in the world gather for the final event of the SCSDA season and round 4 of 5 of the California Sand Drag Challenge at Lake Elsinore Raceway. Each and every competitor is ready to set records and solidify championships. Classes from Top Alcohol to kids ATVs ensure there's racing action for the whole family. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the DOME VALLEY RACEWAY team and Juarez family with the passing of DVRW founder Ernesto Juarez. Ernie will be greatly missed by the entire sand drag racing community. Pictured is Ernesto watching his son (and DVRW promoter) Esteban make a pass in the Chris Minor Racing Top Alcohol dragster at the 2025 Winter Shootout event. We couldn't tell who had a bigger smile that night Esteban or Ernesto.

More records fall at Lake Elsinore Raceway! Bobby and Chris will have the "Flower Power" Jeep on kill to smash the ET record in October!

Bobby Cottrell behind the wheel of the Chris Minor Racing "Flower Power" Jeep reset the AA/ Pro Modified speed record at 135.44MPH and nearly reset the ET record running a best a 2.474, but was unable to back it up. With next event scheduled for the team being back at Lake Elsinore Raceway in October where cooler weather should be hitting California, Bobby and team owner Chris Minor are shooting to reset both ends of the record and push toward the goal of 2.30s.
