We started this piece as a consult in June'25 with a really big idea guided by references more appropriate for a 3x3 design:), whimsy, and a desire to mix black & gray with color. I sat on the floor, as one does, and kinda doodled the idea out. We first broke skin Sept'25. If you scroll thru my instagram, I've got chunks of this posted in its WIP stages. There's at least 24 hours of draw & figure it out time, some moments of me printing my stencil to size and hemming and hawing, plus 7 all-day tattoo sessions of sitting like AN ABSOLUTE BEAST. The coloring of the books and sunflower are fresh today, all of the rest is healed. Thank you for all of your time and trust, I've really enjoyed seeing this to fruition! ☆Cyn☆
