I wanted to share a little life + business update with you all. 🫶🏻
Since opening Casey’s TeepeeZzz two years ago, I’ve been running my business on my days off while also working full time, and over time it has taken a bigger toll on me than I realized. I’ve constantly pushed myself, worked weekends, traveled long distances for parties, and rarely allowed myself the chance to truly slow down. I did it all because I genuinely love what I do and feel so grateful to be part of your little ones’ special moments.
Just two weeks ago, I was released from the hospital after an 8-day hospital stay at UF Health. I was sick with fevers starting July 5th and for the entire month of July, and even after countless tests, scans, bloodwork, and visits with specialists, I never received a clear diagnosis for what caused my fevers or what caused me to become so unwell.
Going through something that serious and so recent has really opened my eyes. It made me realize that I can’t continue pushing myself the way I have been.
I love this business so much, and I am incredibly proud of everything I’ve built. Starting today, I’ll be taking on a smaller number of parties each month so I can continue giving each one my full energy and care. I’ll also be limiting extreme long-distance travel for setups going forward, as the setup, pickup, loading, unloading, and hours of driving can take up an entire weekend and leave me with very little time at home with my family.
Casey’s TeepeeZzz isn’t going anywhere. 🥹💕 I still absolutely love creating magical sleepovers and being a small part of your children’s special memories. I’m simply making changes that will allow me to continue doing what I love while also making more time for my health and my family. 🫶🏻
Thank you to everyone who has supported me from the very beginning and continues to support this little business of mine. It truly means more than you know, and I hope you all understand. 💕
