Library Riot and Nine Lives Presents A Trans Life Benefit 🏳️‍⚧️

Theme of the night: At the Movies!

Doors open at 7 PM. DJ Pansy will start shaking up the Library with bass and beats at 8. At 9 PM, join us for a Live Kiki with Kendal & Keisha Seaux Phynne -- an open, on-stage conversation about trans lives, with audience Q&A. At 9:30 PM, the show begins! Enjoy some movie magic hosted by the incomparable Queen D, featuring drag, burlesque, and vocal performances from some of SWLA's finest kings and queens.

After the show, stick around for a costume contest, late night dancing, and a Lip Sync for Your Life featuring YOU! Bring your best look and your nerve, because the judges are watching and prizes are on the line! DJ Reeg takes the floor at 11 PM, playing us out with his signature, sickening style.

Hey y'all. We have some bad news.

Nine Lives Club Presents ONE NIGHT ONLY is being postponed. Ray's Lounge is closing their doors, effective next week. This is completely out of our hands. When we got the news, our stomachs dropped. We love how much this community has been showing up for us. The crowds we've been pulling, the energy in the room, the way y'all have been hyping this lineup...it means everything to us. You've shown so much love for what we started here, and we cannot thank you enough.

Here's what we can tell you: this show is NOT cancelled forever. Every single performer on this bill is still in. We are searching for a new home and we will have an announcement as soon as that's locked in. Nine Lives Club is our name for a reason. The show must go on.

Our hearts go out to the staff and managers of Ray's who are suddenly faced with this heartbreaking news. We are so grateful to Laura and Scott for hosting us and always making us feel valued, safe, and seen within their walls.

Refunds have been issued.

EDIT: Unfortunately, we got some rough news.

Nine Lives Club Presents ONE NIGHT ONLY is being postponed. Ray's Lounge is closing their doors, effective next week. This is completely out of our hands. When we got the news, our stomachs dropped.
