Our Charger Theatre students had an incredible time following the Yellow Brick Road to see CYT’s “The Wizard of Oz” at McNeese State University! 🎶💚 They were amazed by the performances, sets, and costumes — a perfect dose of inspiration for our own theatre adventures ahead.

After the show, we enjoyed a beautiful afternoon at Ward 3 Park 🌳🍎 — full of laughter, sunshine, and well-deserved fun before heading back to school.

There’s truly no place like Charger Theatre! 💛💙

🎭✨ Charger Theatre 2025–2026 is underway! ✨🎭

We kicked off our very first after-school rehearsal with a favorite theatre game, Mirror, Mirror! 👯‍♀️ This creative warm-up builds focus, teamwork, and expression—while letting our students have fun and shine together. 🌟

We are so excited to officially launch the LCCA Charger Theatre page! This will be your go-to space for updates, behind-the-scenes fun, rehearsal moments, and all things theatre at Lake Charles Charter Academy.

A whimsical journey inspired by Lewis Carroll’s beloved tales, brought to life by our incredible 4th–8th grade students.

Follow along as our young artists explore storytelling, creativity, and collaboration on stage and behind the curtain. This year will be full of magical performances and community connection. 💡💖
