Studio L Recital 2026: Dancing Through the Seasons🩰❄️🌸☀️🍁 That’s a wrap on year two!⭐️
We had twice as many students as last year, some of our adult students performed, and we even had three singers🎶 We also had a full house🤩👏🏻 Thanks to everyone who came to see the show and support their performer!
For the vast majority of the students, last night was their very first time performing. That can be scary, but they did great! Miss Lauren is so proud of them🫶🏻
The theatre has been under renovation for a while, so it was also our first time using the backstage area and the *brand new* light system (last year, we were confined to the stairwell in the wings for costume changing and didn’t have stage lights💁🏻♀️😂)
Special thanks to our dance moms and dads, adult students, guest singers, family members and friends who offered to help with clearing out and cleaning the backstage area and bathrooms, setting up before the show, cleaning up afterward, running lights, and with anything and everything else that was needed!
For only being our second recital—and the first time getting to use the full space—I’d say it went very smoothly, so all of the positive comments from audience members after the show were very appreciated! It’s all because of people’s willingness and readiness to help🩷 It was truly a very unique and special show, and I am grateful to all who were involved. I am already excitedly making a list of improvements and plans for next year’s show🤩
I never thought I’d be so lucky to start the studio with such a great group of kids, and more importantly, with such great PARENTS🙌🏻 Your patience with me while I iron out the kinks of each new class, new recital, and new schedule during these first few years is appreciated more than you know, and I just want to say thank you for giving me grace and for choosing to get to know me and my intentions behind what I’m trying to build at Studio L. I am humbled and honored that you’ve placed your trust in me to teach your child!🫶🏻
