Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there!
Today we’re celebrating the men who showed up, stuck around, answered the phone, taught life lessons, fixed things with zip ties and duct tape, and most importantly… came back with the milk. 🥛😂

But today we want to give a special shoutout to Bryan.

We are thankful for him every single day, but especially today. Through every stage of our kids’ lives, he has been there—showing up, cheering them on, guiding them, protecting them, and loving them without condition. He has never wavered in being the father they needed.

Over the last week, watching him care for Richard has touched our hearts in ways we can’t fully put into words. The patience, the gentleness, the worry, the sleepless nights, and the unwavering dedication have been a reminder of just how deep a father’s love can run.

The love he shows his children is exactly how a father should love them—and then some.

To all the dads, stepdads, bonus dads, grandpas, and father figures who choose every day to love, support, and protect their families, we see you and appreciate you.

And to Bryan—thank you for being the kind of father every child deserves.

Good Morning Lowlifes🖤
We want to take a moment to address something that affects not just our schedule, but the time, preparation, and income of our artists.
When you book a tattoo appointment, your artist is not just “showing up”—that time is reserved and prepared specifically for you. That includes designing or finalizing your artwork, setting up the station, gathering supplies, and planning the session so your tattoo can be completed efficiently and to the best of our abilities.
Because of that preparation, last-minute cancellations or reschedules don’t just leave an empty chair—they take away the artist’s ability to fill that time and often result in a full lost workday- and we still have bills to pay too-😉
Going forward, we will be enforcing our policy that we require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for any cancellations or reschedules. This gives us the opportunity to offer that time to another client and allows the artist to still make the most of their scheduled workday. Without a 48 hour notice you will forfeit your deposit.
We absolutely understand that emergencies and unexpected situations happen. In those cases, we will always do our best to work with you—life happens to all of us-
We appreciate every client who respects our time and helps us keep things running smoothly. Thank you for supporting our artists and their craft.

First, we want to thank every single one of you for the overwhelming flood of texts, messages, calls, prayers, support, and love you've sent our family over the last few days. We have read every message, and while we may not have had the chance to respond to everyone, please know that every kind word has meant more than we can put into words. Our family appreciates each and every one of y'all.
We have also been absolutely amazed by our other kids—Madi, Caleb, Allie—and our bonus kid, Tyler. They have stepped up in ways that make us incredibly proud. Through all of this, they've gone above and beyond helping keep things running smoothly on the home front and making sure everyone is taken care of when we couldn't be everywhere at once.
I also want to ask for a little grace over the next few weeks. Most of y'all know me for my sarcastic, smart-ass posts and jokes, but I just don't have it in me to be funny right now. My heart and mind are somewhere else at the moment, and I'm simply trying to get through one day at a time.
We will be opening tomorrow and operating during our regular business hours. Thank y'all for your patience and understanding while we've been focused on family these last few days.
One thing that has absolutely touched our hearts is hearing that some of our wonderful friends and customers have started putting together a stockpile of Magic: The Gathering cards for Richard at the studio. If anyone would like to drop off a card, a pack, or anything MTG-related, we know he would love every single one. The fact that people are thinking about him means more than we can ever express.
Thank y'all again for the love, prayers, support, and kindness. We are beyond blessed to have such an amazing community standing behind our family.

Today our family experienced something no parent ever wants to face.
The owner's youngest son, Richard, was involved in a devastating car accident along with his grandmother and grandfather. A 3/4-ton truck ran a stop sign and struck the small SUV they were traveling in, causing it to flip multiple times.
By the grace of God, Richard's grandparents are mostly okay physically. Richard, however, suffered multiple skull fractures, broken bones in his ear and face, internal bruising to his abdomen, and facial lacerations. Doctors initially wanted to airlift him to Baton Rouge, but severe weather made that impossible. He is currently being transported by ambulance to receive the specialized care he needs.
At this time, Bleu Son Studio will be closed tomorrow through Wednesday at minimum as our family focuses on being by Richard's side during this critical time.
We ask that you please keep Richard, his grandparents, and our entire family in your thoughts and prayers.
We also want to remind everyone: please obey speed limits, stop signs, and traffic laws. One careless decision behind the wheel can change countless lives in an instant.
Richard, we love you more than words can express. You're strong, you're stubborn, and you're surrounded by people who love you. Keep fighting, buddy. We've got you every step of the way.
Please keep him in your prayers.

Mat is BACK in the studio today 🙌
Congrats on the new niece — seriously, adorable, precious, life-changing, all that sweet stuff… we saw the photos, we smiled politely, we said “aww” like 47 times. BUT at some point the newborn cuddles had to end and the real world started calling again 😏 and luckily Mat finally remembered they have a job and bills.
So the full chaos crew is in today: Allie, Madi, Mat, Caleb, 🖤💙
We are taking WALK-INS all day — tattoos, piercings, bad decisions, good decisions, whatever you’re feeling.
Also 👀 we’re about to drop some new Lowlife Pride shirts, so keep your eyes open. They’re coming in loud, proud, and slightly unhinged… just like us.

How's everyone surviving the slow crawl toward the weekend?
Because honestly, what better way to start the end of the week than with a new tattoo or piercing and a questionable financial decision you'll absolutely brag about later?
Just a heads up: Bryan's least favorite client has him booked all day today. Unfortunately for him, it's his ADD-riddled, super-wiggly wife, and he's tattooing her THROAT. She's also a giant baby, so for the love of all things holy, don't p**s him off before he starts. We'd like everyone to survive this experience.
Meanwhile, Allie, Caleb, and Madi are here taking walk-ins and wondering why y'all keep ghosting them. They miss your beautiful faces. Come get stabbed professionally.

It’s our Friday here at the studio, which means productivity is already hanging on by a thread.
After what feels like 47 years of negotiations, emotional manipulation, and probably a legally questionable amount of persistence, Allie FINALLY convinced her dad to tattoo her. And because she apparently has absolutely no sense of moderation, this bitch didn't pick a tiny little flower or a cute ankle tattoo.
Nope.
She went straight for a badass Japanese crane and cherry blossom half sleeve.
So if you stop by today and see Bryan and Allie completely ignoring the outside world, that's because they're busy participating in a family bonding activity that involves thousands of tiny needle stabs and questionable life choices.
For those of you who were planning on getting tattooed by either of them today, I have devastating news:
They ain't taking s**t today.
Bryan is fully locked into his element. The Japanese art? Check. The music? Check. The laser-focused stare of a man who has become one with his ancestry? Also check. If he starts speaking exclusively in crane symbolism and cherry blossom metaphors, nobody panic.
The good news is that Caleb and Madi are both here, taking walk-ins, scheduling appointments, and generally carrying the burden of keeping this establishment functioning while the father-daughter tattoo marathon unfolds.
So come get tattooed. Get pierced. Book something. Buy some merch. Come watch this family therapy session disguised as a tattoo appointment.
