An email has been sent to all registered families with details about a one-week delay to the start of classes and information for the week ahead.

Our 2026–2027 season begins August 17th, and we can’t wait to welcome our dancers into our NEW studio! ✨

If you’ve been meaning to register, this is the week! Register now to make sure your dancer is ready to begin with their class from day one.

Mrs. Katelyn here! 👋

I wanted to give all of our dance families a little update on our new studio! The move is coming along quickly, and every day brings exciting progress.

Just this week we’ve finished painting, installed the flooring, and poured more concrete. There are still plenty of projects ahead, but it’s finally starting to feel like home, and I couldn’t be more excited to welcome everyone back for fall classes!

I have to admit… I really miss seeing all of our sweet ballerinas in the studio each week. ❤️

Please send me little updates about your dancers from this summer! I recently was told of one of our dancers proudly showing off the push-ups she learned in ballet class, and it absolutely made my day. 💪 I love seeing them continue to grow, stay active, and remember what they’ve learned, even while we’re on break.

Enjoy the rest of your summer, and we’ll be dancing together again before we know it! 🩰

If you’ve noticed we’ve been a little quiet this summer with no classes, camps, or studio activities, you’re right—and we’ve been keeping a secret!

✨ WE’RE MOVING! ✨

After five wonderful years at our East McNeese location, Dance Conservatory of Louisiana is moving to the corner of 18th Street and Common Street!

We couldn’t be more excited for this next chapter. Our new home will give us our own dedicated parking lot, easier interstate access, a location closer to our downtown friends, and the opportunity to operate from a standalone building designed to better serve our dancers and families.

With this move will come a few exciting changes. We’ll be updating our dress code, implementing new safety procedures, and transitioning to a dancers-only facility to help create a focused environment where students can learn, grow, and experience the joy of dance.

This move represents so much more than a new address. It’s an investment in the future of our dancers and our mission, and we cannot wait to welcome you into our new home.

We are hard at work preparing the space and look forward to beginning our fall season at 2650 Common Street!

The 2025–2026 season is officially complete.
Now it’s time to get stronger for 2026–2027.

Ballet is art, but it is also athleticism. These dancers are working on power, coordination, control, and stability through plyometric training to help them jump higher, move stronger, and dance safer.

The goal is not just better dancers.
The goal is stronger, healthier dancers who can perform at a higher level for years to come. 🩰
