Maybe this is why Disney means so much to us moms.
It’s not just the rides.
It’s not just the fireworks.
It’s not even the magic.
Sometimes, it’s watching Dad push the double stroller through the parks.
It’s watching him carry both girls during the fireworks because they’re tired, overwhelmed, or just want to be close.
It’s seeing the way he looks at them when he thinks nobody is watching.
It’s those little moments where you get to step back and simply watch your husband be a dad.
Because in a world that can feel so heavy and so rough, there is something incredibly beautiful about watching the man you love show up for your kids with his whole heart.
That’s part of the Disney magic we don’t talk about enough.
It’s not just about what our kids get to experience.
It’s about getting to witness who they are becoming, and the dads who are right there beside them for it.
And that’s exactly why we’re celebrating our whys.
Tune in Wednesday for our WDW 55th anniversary celebration episode of Mouse Ears & Messy Buns, where we dive into our “whys” behind why we love Disney and what brought us here.
