Disney: where even a 2 am check-in can be magical✨

We once took a flight that had us checking into Gran Destino Tower at Disney’s Coronado Springs at 2 am 🫩 In true Disney fashion, even something annoying turned out to have some magic to it. The hour meant we were the only ones in the lobby and I really got the chance to admire details that might normally lose the battle for my attention when pit against a daytime crowd. Fear not, this series does come back to bathrooms! (Note: the last photo was also taken in the 2 o’clock hour because a room tour waits not for rest.)

There’s a very special bathroom in World Showcase that isn’t on a map!

This bathroom, made up of two companion restrooms, is on the upper level of the Canada Pavilion. 🇨🇦 And it is such a beautiful spot. I’ll post a video of the vibes here; it’s worth checking out!

Fun fact about this bathroom design: both the signage and tile heavily feature Fleur-de-lys ⚜️ this fits in the Canada Pavilion because the Fleur-de-lys is a symbol featured on the flag of Quebec and represents many French-speaking communities in Canada.

If you have yet to visit the newly refurbished bathrooms next to Casey’s Corner, I am jealous of you. Because I would LOVE to relive the experience of first witnessing how amazing this design is 😍⚾️

For National Coffee Day ☕️ I wanted to highlight one of the more confusing bathrooms on property: The Disney Springs Westside Starbucks restroom.

Okay, it isn’t *that* confusing, but this bathroom situation is a little funky. If you are walking along the main pathway in this area, you will see that the men’s room is pretty visible from the front of the building. In the third photo you can even see the men’s sign in the same shot as the Starbucks sign. But the Companion Restroom and the Ladies’ Rooms are on the complete other side of the building! This is an atypical layout (thankfully) for Disney property and I feel like it is exacerbated by the hedges and the fact that this building has lots of layers to it lol. The first time I went looking for this bathroom…. I simply did not find it. Am I alone in thinking this bathroom is a bit tricky??
