🎶 The 2026 Eat to the Beat Concert Series lineup has officially been announced for EPCOT’s Food & Wine Festival!

This year’s lineup includes returning favorites like Hanson, Yellowcard, Boyz II Men, The Fray, Bowling for Soup, and The Beach Boys, plus several new performers joining the festival.

If you’re visiting EPCOT between August and November, it may be worth checking whether one of your favorite artists will be performing during your trip!

For me? The Fray and Boyz II Men are definitely tempting. 😂

Ohhhhh runDisney knew exactly what they were doing with this one. 😭

I was fully prepared to sit Springtime Surprise 2027 out…

And then they dropped a Steamboat Willie challenge medal and suddenly I’m over here opening spreadsheets and pricing out hotel rooms. 💸🏃‍♀️

The themes are officially here:

🐭 Challenge – Steamboat Willie

And can we talk about how PERFECT that challenge medal is?! The vintage black-and-white Mickey, the film strip design, the old-school Disney vibes… runDisney really said, “Let’s target the Disney adults directly.”

Was Springtime Surprise even on my race calendar? No.
Am I now considering it? Also no.
Am I already mentally planning a costume? Unfortunately, yes. 😂

Looking at these medals takes me right back to where it all started: the Walt Disney World Marathon in 2012. 💙🏰

Some medals represent PRs. Some represent survival. Some represent waking up at an absolutely unreasonable hour to run through a theme park dressed like a princess, villain, or random Disney character. 😂

But every single one tells a story.

The early mornings. The training runs. The nerves in the corrals. The friendships. The finish lines. The magical moments that somehow make us sign up again.

And honestly? The medals are great… but the memories attached to them are even better. ✨

Also… while we’re here…

🚨 Dear RunDisney: PLEASE bring back the Star Wars races. 🚨

☀️ COOL KIDS SUMMER SURVIVAL PICK ☀️

Let’s talk about one of Animal Kingdom’s most underrated summer survival tools: Na’vi River Journey. 🌿✨

Why it makes the list:

❄️ Mostly indoor queue
🛶 About a 5-minute ride
👶 No height requirement
🦋 Slow-moving and relaxing
👣 Perfect excuse to sit down and rest your feet

Look, I know everyone talks about Flight of Passage (and for good reason)… but when it’s hot, the combination of shade, air conditioning, and a peaceful boat ride hits differently.

This is one of my favorite ways to recharge before heading back out into the Animal Kingdom heat.

Disney bestie tip: If Flight of Passage has a long wait and your crew needs a break, Na’vi River Journey can be the perfect reset.

The race that started it all. 🏃‍♀️💖

In January 2012, I lined up for the Walt Disney World Marathon—my very first marathon and my very first runDisney race.

I didn’t have fancy gear. I didn’t have years of running experience. I had a pink shirt, a dream, and absolutely no idea how much this one race would change my life.

26.2 miles later, I crossed that finish line with a Mickey medal around my neck and a brand-new belief in myself.

What I didn’t know then was that this race would spark a love for running that would stay with me for years. It would lead to more runDisney weekends, countless training miles, new friendships, and eventually a community of runners right here with all of you. ✨

Looking back at these photos makes me smile because every runner starts somewhere. This was my somewhere.

Today we’re ranking Hollywood Studios attractions by the only metric that matters during a Florida summer:

✨ Minutes spent in air conditioning. ✨

My Top 3:

🥇 Frozen Sing-Along
30 minutes of A/C while Elsa reminds us what cold feels like.

🥈 Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After
Villains AND air conditioning? Finally, a show that understands me.

🥉 Rise of the Resistance
Basically an air-conditioned mini movie with a ride attached.

💜 Honorable Mention: Toy Story Midway Mania
No height requirement, mostly indoor queue, and the whole family can compete for bragging rights.

Listen… once it hits 95° outside, I’m not ranking attractions by thrills anymore. I’m ranking them by how long they let me sit down indoors. 😂
