Featured artwork of the day: "Sea Goddess" Mermaid Painting

The Sea Goddess by artist David Miller. She is beautiful and free, she is the goddess of the sea. This mermaid painting was painted on 13 individual round canvases, set into a custom frame designed and made by artist David Miller.

Coleman's wonderful sense of color and ability to translate emotion into image molded his professional career as a fine artist, spanning over 26 years.

James Coleman didn't need to go to Hollywood he was born there in 1949. He found his artistic niche at Walt Disney Studios as a background animation specialist for 22 years. Winnie the Pooh, The Little Mermaid, and Beauty and the Beast came to life with James Coleman's background images gracing the screen.

James Coleman... a name synonymous with tropical rainforests, rich deep woods, and silent deserts. The art created by this talented man continue to delight all.

Eventually Coleman left the motion picture industry and turned his talent to canvas full time. Today he continues to illuminate the are world with his vibrant colors, gentle moods, and exquisite detail. His artwork is represented by some of the most prominent galleries in North America, the Orient, and the Hawaiian Islands.

Cris Woloszak represents an innovative and new dimension in fine arts.

In 2005, Cris established the “Jaws of Fire” Art Project. He started applying his artistic craft with conceptual candy color concepts onto various sharks, rays, and fish constructed out of fiberglass molds that represented the actual species.

In addition, in 2012 Cris was approved to paint Disney metal artwork. Cris in collaboration with collector’s editions has been focusing recently on his metal paintings producing a collection of entertaining artwork using his candy colors and chasing method on the metal to create an unusual reflective illusion on the aluminum panels he uses to produce the Disney images.

ART FOR THE HEART 200. "A PRIVATE ART AUCTION"

WHY?
We are celebrating Sottil most relevant and closest to his heart milestone of his painting carrier.

He just painted "Heart of hope number 200" at the Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City, earlier this month.

Luis Sottil stated that "The greatest inspiration he has learned from these young heroes is that WHEN YOU DREAM WITH YOUR HEART ANYTHING IS POSIBLE" Sottil stated.

WHAT IS THE HEARTS OF HOPE PROJECT?
The project started with Sottil's realization that all children are born with the amazing sensibility to express emotions to color. With this in mind, Sottil visits hospitalized children, afflicted with life threatening diseases, to paint inside of a heart, the eyes and the smile of what they would like to be when they get well and are able to get out of the hospital. To bring healing and hope is at the core of the project.

The 200th heart was painted by seven year old Kyler who would like to become an artist's assistant when he gets well.

HOW DOES IT BENEFIT THE CHILDREN?
The project has raised over two and a half million dollars, benefiting over 20 thousand kids primarily, under the care of the Children's Miracle Network and UNAC, among other organizations.

HOW DOES THE AUCTION PROCESS WORK?
This is an exclusive silent art auction being held at any of the two Luis Sottil Galleries, located in the United States. The entire body of Sottil's work on display is marked with a red heart, indicating that those pieces, for the very first time ever, are available for the starting bid of half of their market value, making this a rare opportunity to acquire a Sottil work of art at the most exceptional value.

When a collector expresses interest in a particular piece and prepares a contract to purchase, the art consultant changes the marked red heart to a green one, indicating that the auction for that particular piece has been activated and will remain active for the next 72 hours.

During this short period of time, anyone interested in that piece can increase the bid with a minimum of $100.00 dollar increment. Please note that this auction will pertain to existing inventory and cannot be used for commissioned artwork.
