I’ve used single rider lines on all my Disney trips! Really bummed to see this is going away.
🚨 One of Expedition Everest’s longtime shortcuts is about to disappear. 🏔️🎢
Beginning September 21, Expedition Everest at Disney’s Animal Kingdom will no longer offer a dedicated Single Rider line.
The change follows testing of a new loading process designed to move adventurers through the attraction more efficiently. That testing resulted in lower average standby wait times, reducing the need for a separate Single Rider queue.
For years, Single Rider has offered guests willing to split from their party another way to experience the journey to the Forbidden Mountain. With the updated loading process, that option will now be retired specifically at Expedition Everest.
This change is limited to Expedition Everest and does not impact Single Rider offerings at other attractions across Walt Disney World.
The mountain is still calling, but beginning September 21, there will be one less path to the summit. 🐾🏔️
Will you miss using the Single Rider line at Expedition Everest?
