Joshua Segal, Personal Art Consultant & Gallery Director at the Promenade Fine Art Gallery located at Disney’s Boardwalk, doesn’t believe that one can “sell” art to someone.

r.” Much like the creation of the art itself is a special experience, so should be the process of acquiring art. Joshua has always prided himself in creating a personalized and special experience for each and every one of his collectors so that they feel like they are a part of the entire process from start to finish. One of Joshua’s greatest passions is helping his collectors connect with the artwork through education. Through sharing his knowledge of not only the artwork itself but also the artists behind these creations, Joshua has earned the trust of countless collectors as they continue to build their art collection. It is perhaps this dedication to creating personal, meaningful connections that has turned so many “collectors” into friends over his almost 19 year career at the gallery. With his passion for interior and exterior design as well as space planning, one of Joshua’s specialties is going to the home or workplace of his collectors to help determine what pieces of art would be best for specific areas. Joshua makes it a priority to help find a piece that doesn’t just “fit” the space but belongs there. Joshua earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Art from the University of Central Florida in 2001. That education, combined with years of first-hand experience, has set Joshua apart as an expert in his field. He has spent countless hours with the
artists themselves, watching, listening, and learning as they work and tell the stories that make them unique, so he can share that experience with his collectors. When he is not at the gallery, Joshua enjoys spending time with his wife, Iris, his son, Leo, and his rescued boxer, Audrey. A lifelong, diehard UCF fan, Joshua can often be found supporting his alma mater and cheering on his beloved Knights at a football or baseball game. He also enjoys time in the Florida sunshine with his family on the water.
