JUST BOOKED: TWO Club Level rooms at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge for Christmas time!

WHO’S READY TO EAT THEIR WAY THROUGH MONSTROPOLIS?! 🍜👁️🙋‍♀️

Because dinner at Harryhausen’s has been on my wish list since Monsters, Inc., and now it’s actually happening! 😂

Parts of Monstropolis will welcome humans to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in 2027, and we need to talk about the FOOD.

🍣 Harryhausen’s is becoming a table-service restaurant—with an eight-tentacled Audio-Animatronic sushi chef! Disney is also exploring ramen bowls with monster touches like eyeball-shaped fishcakes and green eggs. Imagine telling the kids we’re having eyeball ramen for dinner. 👀🤣

🍕 Archie’s Scare Pig Pizza will bring those Monsters University vibes to a quick-service neighborhood pizza spot. A pizza break between adventures? Always a yes.

🥤 And then there’s BLORT. A purple frozen drink topped with Scream Apple Foam is in development, and I’m absolutely curious enough to put that on my snack list!

This is my kind of vacation planning: a little adventure, a little nostalgia, and figuring out what we’re eating next. 🖤

Happy Monday, friends! 🖤

Ever catch yourself dreaming about a Disney trip, then immediately thinking through all the things that could be hard?

“What if the crowds are too much?”
“What if my child can’t handle the waiting?”

As an autism mom, I’ve asked those questions, too. I know how much thought can go into something other families might do without thinking twice.

You don’t need to have all the answers before you reach out. Helping you work through those questions is part of what I do.

Whether we’re planning around sensory needs, mobility needs, or a little one who needs their usual downtime, we can build in breaks, talk through options, and leave room to change plans.

Have you ever had to cancel or change a vacation because of weather or safety concerns? 💔

Because that’s exactly where we are right now.

We were supposed to be headed to the beach, but with red flag and double red flag conditions, we made the decision to change our plans.

For anyone who doesn’t spend a lot of time at the beach, those flags matter. Red flags mean dangerous surf and rip current conditions, while double red flags mean the water is closed to the public.

And as much as I hate canceling a trip, this is one of those situations where safety has to win.

There’s also another layer for our family. My special needs girlie doesn’t really understand beach warning flags or why the ocean could be right there in front of her but still be completely off-limits. So instead of putting her in a situation where she can see the water but not understand why she can’t get in, we decided it was better to pivot altogether.

This is one of those reminders that travel plans sometimes have to change, even when you’ve been looking forward to them.

So I’m curious:
