We love Disney club level stays for special occasions and when we’re not planning long days at the theme parks! Disney dining has become so expensive for our family now that our kids are getting older, and when we stay club level we rarely spend money on food outside the lounge.

This was our sixth club level stay and while we loved Boardwalk, there were a few downsides compared to other club levels. The lounge felt far from the pool so it wasn’t as easy to pop up for a drink or snack. The lounge space is beautiful but quite small and there’s no balcony. And the midday food offerings are very light.

Another month of magical living 🏰

Feeling thankful for lots of time with good friends in places we love this August including:

✨ The first official day of Halloween season at Magic Kingdom

✨ 2 nights in a theme park view room at Bay Lake Tower

✨ 1 night at Beach Club for end-of-summer swimming in our favorite Disney pool

✨ My first time eating at Tiffins at Animal Kingdom (so good 🙌🏼)

✨ A much-anticipated Disneyland trip with sweet friends

✨ First day of Food and W**e Festival

✨ Lots of other Disney visits in-between

It also happens to be the very first one ✨ We just got home from California and I’m convinced the nostalgia of Disneyland Hotel can’t be beat.

We love the classic Disney feel of this hotel, the relaxed tropical atmosphere, and the amazing pools 🌴

It does take a few extra minutes to walk to the theme parks from Disneyland Hotel, but in return it feels less crowded and more cozy.
