Sounds Of Addiction Like most things on Hawaii’s laid-back tropical island of Maui, The Sounds of Addiction grew organically as a family of friends looking to jam.

After regularly playing together at a beach house in Lahiana, the band’s first official gig was for a friend’s wedding in 2007, where they realized the potential of what they had serendipitously created. The Sounds of Addiction work on creating a new sound with the simple aim of captivating and entertaining their audiences. Experimental Reggae is the result. Familiar and relaxing reggae flavors wi

th innovative rock-inspired sounds and instruments that inspire listeners to get up and dance! While all of their gigs have special elements that make them unique, The Sounds of Addiction’s most memorable show was when they opened for Barrington Levy at the 5,000 seat Maui Arts and Cultural Center (MACC). The Sounds of Addiction love to make music that people love to hear and they want to spread their original sound from the Hawaiian Islands to the rest of the world.
