The Old Pros of Laguna Woods presents an original show,
🎭AUDITIONS!!🎭, at the regular meeting Wed., April 23rd, 2025 at Clubhouse 7 at 7 pm. Directed by Al Glover, written by Paul Lambert, it explores the effects of an audition on four actors.

Actors Barbara Turino, Paul Lambert, Al Glover, Susan Adleman, Steven Bently, Irwin Rosenfeld and Karen Elliot will do speeches from Cat on a Hot Tin Roof by Tennessee Williams, LongDay’s Journey into Night by Eugene O’Neill and Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf by Edward Albee.

Doors open at 6:30, the play begins at 7 pm. Members are free, guests are $5. Delicious, complimentary snacks and wine are available.

We will not be doing the show, but the story of how the show came to be. And we will be doing songs from the show. We're looking for 4 readers and 6 singers. So be prepared to sing whatever you want, with or without accompaniment.

The Old Pros presents "THE DEAD," a one act play adapted from James Joyce’s “The Dubliners,” Wednesday, March 26 at 7PM in Clubhouse 7. The play recreates an annual dinner dance in turn of the last century Dublin.

Produced/directed by Michael Pontecorvo, featuring Cheryl Baker, Leeann Nolan, Carol Glenn, Gregory Anderson and Keitheley Wilkinson,

Doors open at 6:30. Members are free, guests are $5 and delicious, complimentary snacks are available.

Auditions will be held at the PAC, Monday, November 4th, 1 - 3 Pm for a four person play directed by Gila Zalon, in which each person plays all the roles in his/her play. So sharpen your acting chops and audition.

The Old Pros invite you to dress in Shakespearean costume when you come to enjoy Shakespeare’s Women: An Evening with Julia Lupton and Ava Burton Wednesday, October 23, 2024, 7:00 PM at Clubhouse 7.
Professor Julia Lupton, Distinguished Professor of English at UC Irvine, will share insights into the plays and their themes. Actor Ava Burton will perform monologues that bring these women to life.
Whether in costume or jeans, doors open at 6:30 pm, the show begins at 7 pm. Members are free, guests are $5. Wine and snacks are free. Come for the wine, stay for the show.
