I am getting ready for Paint San Clemente, the annual plein air competition.

It starts on Saturday June 13 with a three hour quick draw and the rest of the competition lasts a whole week, topped off with a gala award ceremony and display of all of the Paint San Clemente plein air paintings at 6 PM on Saturday, June 13th.

If you are in Southern California, the last day to sign up is Sunday, June 7. The competition welcomes all media.

Our 4th and last ballpark was outside of Sapporo, ES CON Field Hokkaido.

Opened in 2023, it rivals any professional ballpark in the world.

Its retractable roof was closed on a cool day in northern Japan.

We saw Saitama Seibu Lions @ Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters.
