Delighted to let you know that Moss Point, Dancing Dalia, Beach Tribe and Tranquil were selected to be included in Community Art Project’s “Real and Imagined” at Gallery in
City Hall, Laguna Beach, from June 18 to July 26, 2024. This exhibition showcases Laguna Beach artists in a variety of mediums focusing on the contrast theme in real and imagined. I am honored to be chosen and to exhibit along with this talented group of artists.
My painting style sits somewhere between abstraction and representation. My focus has been to enjoy the tension between paint as a descriptive form of visual communication and as an object with its own physical and expressive nuances. It then creates a visual narrative that goes beyond mere representation.

Register to join LPAPA Artist Member Carole Boller for this fun and informative in-person LPAPA+LOCA “Flourish & Bloom in Laguna” Paint Together. In this painting lesson Carole will demonstrate her oil painting process, brush stroke by brush stroke, of a lovely garden scene in Laguna Beach. The objective of the lesson will be to understand working from life “en plein air” and the importance of values. This workshop is not limited to oil painters, all mediums are welcome.
