Now in Bariloche, in the Andes along the Lake District. We went to a Restaurant where we were served on these plates. I have never before seen a plate so elegantly earthy! Goulash and pasta…quite unique and wanted to share the design with all the potters I know!

I’m in Buenos Aires since Wednesday enjoying the many colors of Argentina. Messi and Tango in La Boca District where most of those photos were taken. I got a new more advanced iPhone for this trip so I could capture new angles closer up! Love it!

Played hooky from Sawdust today so I could finish a couple paintings . Sunset casts a vibrant tone on the Rocky outlets of the tide. 12 x 16 oil on linen panel.

Last weekend I found myself in an area off Golden Lantern that was new to me. I found a walk that took me up to Colinas Bluff Trail. To my surprise it looked over the entire village of San Juan Capistrano out to the Ocean. But I couldn’t resist painting the light on the trail where the beautiful Eucalyptus trees were blowing in the wind. Especially after recently losing so many 100 year old trees in Laguna Beach .

“Outstanding in their Field” 36 x48, was a commission for an Alpaca Farm, up North in Loomis. It took several hours to get it just right. It was a joy to work on and will be enjoyed by their family and friends of dedicated Alpaca Farmers.
