Stringendo music school nurtures young string players to become passionate musicians and accomplished performers.

Through orchestra concerts and fiddle gigs, in private lessons and summer music camps, students work together to achieve the extraordinary. Orchestra School of the Hudson Valley, began in the fall of 2001 as a year round extension of Summer Strings music camp. Its six string orchestras rehearse on Saturday, and currently enroll over 200 students between the ages of 7 and 18. Strawberry Hill Fiddle

rs hosts four fiddle groups in which students learn traditional fiddle styles by ear. Performances include singing, dancing, improvisation and body percussion and represent the music of many cultures. The Fiddlers have performed throughout Scotland and across the United States. Summer Strings is a day camp for string players in 3rd through 10th grades. Students divide their time between learning fiddle tunes by ear and playing in string orchestra. Fiddle groups are small (6-11 students) and present their own arrangements in performance.

Strawberry Hill Fiddlers having a great time at the Farmers Market at Town of Wappinger, 20 Middlebush Rd! Lots of vendors, gorgeous weather, and live music. What a beautiful day for the Strawberry Hill Fiddlers to be at The Beltane Festival with The Vanaver Caravan. And our Raspberries had a wonderful time performing at Camp Herrlich. Such a gorgeous spring day!
