We would like to officially introduce our Mini Art Gallery Exchange on the corner of Lafayette Parkway and Morgan Street (in front of the Center for Creative Learning). This is a community driven art exchange where visitors are encouraged to take a piece of art they love and share their own art within the mini gallery! If you stop by, please tag us in your posts, we'd love to see your creations! All mediums are welcome!
Please be sure the door latches back, we want to protect the artwork inside from the rain. ❤

June Super Saturday is this week! This month we will be using oil pastels in a limited color palette to create portraits inspired by Tom Ferguson's lithograph Snow Plow Operator from our permanent collection. Ferguson used only primary colors (red, yellow, and blue) to create an exaggerated caricature style portrait. Come in anytime from 1-4 Saturday, June 20th to participate! All ages are welcome and the project is completely FREE! We will be in the colorful building next to the museum on the corner of Lafayette Parkway and Morgan Street!

"I work primarily in Graphite, Acrylics, & Watercolor, usually a mixed media of these and other mediums. The bulk of my art is fantasy and Sci-Fi oriented space and landscapes of surrealistic, imaginary images. I have a really wide range of subjects and styles probably from my years of doing convention shirt designs."
