You may notice something interesting in our lobby for Come From Away. The Troup County Archives have graciously lent us two very special pieces.

This piece of rusted metal is in fact a fragment of the steel from the World Trade Center. Many of these fragments were sent all over the nation, to city archives and museums to help preserve the memory of the September 11th attacks.

The firefighter's jacket and boots belong to a member of our community that was there the day of the attacks, bravely helping with the rescue efforts. We want to thank them and all of the First Responders that were there for their heroism and sacrifice.

Thank you to Troup County Archives for lending us these incredible mementos and helping us make our performances of Come From Away that much more special and real.
