🦎💛 SURRENDER SPOTLIGHT 💛🦎

Today, we welcomed this sweet leopard gecko into Acadiana Reptile Adventures as a surrender. We’re so grateful the owner trusted us to give this little one a safe place and a fresh start. 🥹

For now, our priority is getting this little one settled in, eating regularly, maintaining a healthy weight, and making sure it is in good overall health before being placed up for adoption.

Over the next couple of months, we’ll be working with it and monitoring its progress. Once we’re confident it is healthy and ready, it will officially enter our adoption program and begin looking for its forever home. 🏡❤️

If you’re interested in potentially adopting this sweet baby, feel free to reach out to us! We’ll keep interested families updated as we get closer to adoption.

Our goal is always to make sure every reptile in our care gets the time, attention, and care it needs before finding the right forever home. 🦎💚

Summer Time Fun!

It's been a packed weekend with three shows! We wouldn't have it any other way! We have a private tour Tuesday night, a photoshoot Wednesday and another packed weekend of shows!

🐍💚 A Little Chandler Appreciation Post! 💚🦎

We just wanted to take a minute to brag on Chandler a little bit because, well… he deserves it!

When Chandler joined the Acadiana Reptile Adventures crew, we knew he would be a great addition, but watching him grow into the role has made us even more proud to have him on our team. He works hard, jumps in wherever he’s needed, asks questions, learns, and most importantly, genuinely cares about our animals and what we do.

Around here, being part of the team means a little bit of everything, handling reptiles, cleaning enclosures, helping with projects, working events, getting dirty, lifting things that are way heavier than they look, and occasionally dealing with a reptile that decides to create its own adventure. 😂🐍

Through all of it, Chandler continues to step up and impress us.

But beyond being a great employee, he has truly become part of our little ARA family. We trust him, we appreciate him, and we’re incredibly proud of how far he has come and how much he continues to grow.

Building Acadiana Reptile Adventures means so much to our family, so having someone beside us who puts his own time, effort, and heart into helping us build it means more than we can really say.

Chandler, thank you for working hard, putting up with us, loving these crazy animals, and being along for the adventure. 😂💚 We’re lucky to have you, and we can’t wait to see what’s ahead!

Acadiana Reptile Adventures is excited to announce that we are currently planning a FREE sensory friendly reptile event for children on the autism spectrum, anticipated to take place in February 2027.

Our goal is to provide an inclusive and comfortable environment where children can explore, learn about, and interact with reptiles at their own pace. We are thoughtfully planning the event to incorporate sensory-friendly activities, educational materials, and spaces that allow children and families to enjoy the experience in a way that works best for them.

Because this event will be offered at no cost to participating families, we are seeking support from local businesses and community members to help cover the supplies and materials needed to make the event possible.

We are currently offering two sponsorship opportunities and would love to connect with businesses and organizations interested in supporting this event.

This coming October, Acadiana Reptile Adventures is proud to support survivors, those currently fighting, and everyone whose lives have been touched by breast cancer. 💗

As a small way of giving back, we are offering 10% OFF birthday parties and private reptile encounters taking place this October! 🐍🦎

✨ You can book anytime! If you or someone you know has battled breast cancer, simply mention this post when booking and your October event will receive 10% off!

💗 A portion of every October booking will also be donated toward breast cancer awareness and research.
