Our venue is highly sought out after and honestly Booked & Busy! 💙

Please understand that an inquiry about availability is just that. An inquiry. I do not hold dates for anyone. If a deposit is not made and someone else pays a deposit on the date you inquired about unfortunately that date will no longer be available.

It's not greed or anything personal...Just business.

I am too busy to keep checking in to see "IF" someone still wants x date.

Inquiry/Inbox/Conversation only and no deposit = Date is available.

$250 deposit payment = Date is no longer available.

Please allow me to reintroduce myself.....Minister Mel Decuir-Haynes!

I am officially ordained and registered in Lafayette & Orleans Parishes to perform Wedding Ceremonies, Elopements, Vow Renewals!

This has ALWAYS BEEN the plan!

I'm super excited for this remarkable accomplishment and I have 1 more accomplishment that will round out the whole production!

I've always loved LOVE. I LOVE going to weddings and now I get to be a small part in someone's Love Story!!!!!

I do have packages available that range from a simple sign & go all the way to venue/cake/ceremony!

My girl at the courthouse recognized me (I was trying to be incognito) and she jokingly said you're trying to be a monopoly....

Perform your wedding ceremony
In MY venue Envious Events, LLC-Lafayette
I can bake you a small cutting cake from my bakery, Sweet Envie, LLC and I can even make the bride & groom's small flower arrangements from Fleur d'Envie (page coming soon).

Thank you to everyone who has inquired about booking Envious Events, LLC-Lafayette!

We worked really hard to ensure our venue is both esthetically pleasing and comfortable for you & your guests!

Please note, your Building rental is for the DAY you booked the venue. Effective Immediately, I am no longer granting access to the venue the day prior to any booked event Free anymore.

If the Venue is available the day prior to a booked event, the fee for 2hrs max is $150.

This was a courtesy that I previously offered but unfortunately I am no longer offering this.
