💛Due to such a high amount of interest in Art Camp along with camp returning back to only 1️⃣ class session this year……I have T-O-N-S and I repeat….TONS, of kids on my waiting list! (enough to fill another class) So it’s EXTRA important to pay 💴 your camp fee (or make arrangements with me) by the deadline tomorrow March 17th!

💙 I will begin filling ALL unpaid spots promptly on March 18th!

📌This is a🚨”first come, first served”🚨camp. We have a VERY limited number of spots & we fill up SUPER quick!! (as many of you know)

📌 Art Camp will be held **June 11th & 12th, it is an indoor/outdoor camp! Located @ The Wilmore Residence 🏠 in Lafayette.

📌 This is a drop off & pick up camp (however if you want to stay we will gladly put you to work as we always need extra hands)
TIME: 8:00-11:00am

📌 We accept kids age 4-9 (they must be in that age range by camp)

📌 Supply Fee is $60 per camper. That covers ALL their projects, paint shirt, tie-dye project, cool treats & snacks for both days!

📌 Camp fee MUST be paid by March 17th! If not paid that spot will go to the next in line!

📌 We will contact 📲 you as soon as we fill all the spots to let you know your child will attend Art Camp! Please pay the camp fee when you’re contacted.

📌 We NEED VOLUNTEERS!! Especially PARENT volunteers!!! (Kid volunteers MUST be 12 years or older) If your child needs service hours contact ☎️ me!

Shewwwwww……we made it through y’all!!! 🥵We dodged storms clouds, played in the rain, slipped in the mud 🙊 oopppsss…lol! Got super messy with slime then washed up with our yearly traditional 💦 water balloon fight! We made TONS of crafts & played with the parachute in between! Played outside to get our wiggles out, enjoyed a snack & a few ice pop breaks to cool down! We ended our camp on with a bang‼️ That rainy 🌧️ weather wasn’t going to slow us down! 🚦

Here’s what we did:

📌Because we had to bring our items inside to dry (due to the storms), several items accidentally got left behind. I will post a pic of the remaining projects left behind at camp, if your camper wants them, I’ll have them here awaiting on a table inside to pick up anytime this week! (Just swing by & grab them. It will stay unlocked this week just for that reason)

🟢 THANK YOU to the parents for sending your camper to ART CAMP! THANK YOU to every mother & grandmother that volunteered!! It is a true labor of love!!! 💕 🥵 lol!! THANK YOU to the Jr. High Interact Club for all the students volunteers!! Along with the high school students that just volunteered their time without needing volunteer hours! And finally a thank you to the Macon Co. Nutrition Program for providing us with snacks for the campers both days! It truly takes a village (a B I G village) to make this camp work every year! THANK YOU!!!!!

We had a successful & busy day!! Today we made:

✅ Bubble photo
✅ Painted picture frames
✅ Painted shirts
✅ Tie-dyed lunch bags
✅ Ball painting

✅ Painted cereal bowls

We had snack, cool water breaks & ice pops to cool us down! We played with the parachute and the ended our day! These kids are very creative & I can’t wait to see them all again tomorrow!

ART CAMP ⛺️ INFORMATION

Art Camp is next THURSDAY & FRIDAY!!
June 12 & 13

To accommodate as many kids as possible, we are having 2 class sessions each day!
AM ☀️ class 8:00-11:00am
PM 🌙 class 1:00-4:00pm

You have already been notified of which class your child is scheduled. But, I will post each class list tomorrow as a reminder! (your child only attends 1 class session each day)

🚩Art Camp is located @ 73 Lois Lane
📍 (Wilmore residence) 🏠 we host this in our detached garage! You will see all the excitement when you arrive! 🎉

🚩We will have signs 🪧 posted at Scottsville Rd /Tuck Rd (just past the city limit sign). Those will lead you all the way to camp! ⛺️

🚩On THURSDAY: Please park in the left side yard, turn your vehicle off (because the cooling drips from the cars and kills the grass)
Walk your camper(s) to us and sign the 🚨emergency contact form for each child. Volunteers with clip boards will greet you with the forms & walk your child to camp!

🚩This is a “Drop off” & “Pick up” camp! If you wish to stay with your child, we can always use the extra help so you’ll be put to work! Lol! 😆
Art Camp runs on the many volunteers so we are happy to have the extra help!

🚩Please send your campers in “Paint friendly” 🎨 clothes each day!! We supply paint shirts for each child, but sometimes we get messy and the paint shirts don’t prevent all the messes! 🤪

🚩Because we are a summer ☀️ camp for school aged kids the School Nutrition program is helping us by providing a snack to the campers each day! (Please list any allergies on emergency form)

🚩PICK UPS: All campers will be sitting at the tables to safely wait for parents at the end of the each camp day. They will have several items to take home each day, please walk up to receive your child.

🚩We provide icy pops & water through out the camp day, so no need to send water bottles or extra items with your child. We are very busy during camp, which makes it difficult to keep up with extra items. If it is necessary to send something extra with your child please label it with their name! (We are not responsible if extra items get lost or misplaced.)

🚩We post TONS of pictures 📸 on our FB page each day so you all can follow along & see what projects they did! If you don’t want your child pictured MAKE THAT KNOWN to us!!! Because several volunteers will be capturing pics each day to post!

Thank you for letting your child attend ART CAMP!!! ⛺️ We have several returning campers & several newbies!! So that’s a great mix!!

We have several parent volunteers signed up (the most we’ve ever had!!❤️) along with high school & Jr. High school interact members! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Thank you for your much needed help!!!

We have received responses back & payment to fill over 8️⃣0️⃣ spots so far!!! ••••😱 WOW!!!!

💚If you received my message & have not replied back, please REPLY BACK as soon as possible! Even if your child is no longer able to attend, I still need to know, that way I can take NEW campers that are awaiting to get on my list! (I also understand that things happen and schedules change, so it’s no biggie! Just let me know either way😉)

💙 I am awaiting a response back from about 20 parents! (I know many are new to this camp, so I think many of you didn’t realize the process & that’s ok! We’re all learning together! lol)

❤️If your child is planning to attend and you haven’t paid the camp fee yet…..that’s ok too! Camp fee is due by **May 1st!!! **

(Because most camps are only offered in the morning, this gives you the option to attend the afternoon Art camp session so not to conflict with any other summer camps! 👏🏻🙌🏻🤜🏻💥🤛🏻
