Are you seeking the feeling of singing in a truly good ensemble? You’re in the right place.

ModernTone is launching The Modern Voices Ensemble, a small auditioned SATB group (about 16–20 singers) for adults who want meaningful, high-quality music-making again. Think thoughtful repertoire, focused rehearsals, and a community of people who genuinely enjoy working toward something beautiful together.

Rehearsals are 90 minutes weekly in Lafayette, led by professional vocalist and educator Jessica Winn, whose experience and musicality set a warm but ambitious tone for the group.

If you’ve been wanting to return to ensemble singing, or you know someone who keeps saying they “miss choir so much” this is a great place to land.

Every day at ModernTone Studios, we get to watch music change lives.

Kids discovering rhythm for the first time. Adults finding their way back after years away. Parents seeing their kids grow in confidence, focus, and genuine joy.

Our students and recording artists bring every background and every genre through our doors. Our job is to meet them where they are, back their goals, and build a community where their creativity can actually take root and grow.

We’ve worked hard to build a place that supports people making music, pays its team a living wage, and makes a real impact in the community we serve. We’ve applied for the Gusto Impact Award so we can keep expanding our programs, investing locally, and bringing more music into more lives.
