Are any up coming shows cancelled due to the Coronavirus?
Lafayette High was scheduled to perform at the National Concert Band Festival in Indianapolis, Indiana this weekend. Unfortunately, due to the current health threat in the U.S. the administration feels travel is unwise at this time. Therefore, the MLBBF would like to give our dedicated students the opportunity to perform the amazing music they have working extremely hard on so please join us this Saturday at the Heymann Center for a FREE Concert at 6 pm. Bring your family and friends and show these kids how much Lafayette supports them!
It’s a great, cozy venue. No bad seats!

Very dissapointed that no attempts were made to quit down the unruly crowd for last night's Ray lamontagne concert. We could not hear opening act because of the talking. This night was suppose to be an anniversary present for my wife and I. It was a slap in the face for the artist and for the ones who really were there to appreciate the great talent. The venue is perfect for great talent to utilize but without proper ushering and crowd noise compliance it made for a horrible experience. Will be a long time before we attend ankther event.
My husband and I attended the Ray Lamontagne & guest concert held there last night. I am embarrassed for you and the people of Acadiana that attended, for the outright disrespect that was allowed last night, for an ACOUSTIC concert. I thought for sure a representative of your facility would address the crowd after the opening act was done. For the amount of money that we spent of tickets there last night and the experience we had, we will not be attending anymore events held there. It was like being at a bar, not a respectable concert venue where one could purely enjoy the music that was being played. Lafayette can do much better, instead it was a huge disappointment.
ITS A GREAT PLACE ALLWAYS LOVE GOING THERE FOR USAC
