We are so thankful for the Greater Lafayette Clay Guild and their partnership in helping LUM be a lifeline of help and hope in our community.

During the Starry Night Festival, Kathi Shewmaker demonstrated the art of throwing bowls at Artists’ Own. Even more special, every bowl created during the demonstration was donated to LUM’s Empty Bowls event!

Join us for Empty Bowls on Wednesday, October 28, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thomas Duncan Hall. For $35, enjoy lunch from The Buttery Shelf, choose a handcrafted bowl, and support LUM.

Artists' Own was fortunate to be a stop on the Haan Museum Symposium, Place, People, Purpose. Symposium participants were able to hear form the Cooperative's artists about their work, the history of the cooperative and how art plays a role in the community. Demonstrations were performed as well as discussions by many of the members. We want to thank the Haan Museum for the opportunity of being a part of their symposium.,

The Haan Museum is taking art into the Lafayette community, giving visitors a chance to meet local artists and experience their work.

We had such a wonderful and fun reception at Artists’ Own on Friday, September 18th, celebrating the fantastic artists Lorie Amick and LaDonna Vohar and their exhibition, Something to Crow About! 🎨✨
