A fun night out with Nanna’ and the Twins! The girls dropped off their first letters to Santa😊🎄 it was a very magical moment for my mom and I to do that with the girls. It’s so very special to me and the girls that she gets to do all kinds of fun things with us. We are missing their other special Grandma Maureen who we wish were here🎄💕🥰 can’t wait to see her soon! Thank you to Aj and Vanessa for making Christmas soo special we love y’all!

My heart was devastated upon waking up to texts from concerned friends regarding the events that took place in New Orleans during the early morning hours. This city means more to me than what mere black and white words in this text will express. I haven’t been able to shake the sorrow and celebrate New Year today. Families have been told some of the most harrowing news humankind has the capacity to hear. Some have seen images that only God can heal from their mind’s eye. The mark on these individuals and those in whom they have come in contact is great and grievous. I am sad that this is the world we live in. I am repulsed actually. How much more devastation until it all ends? I can’t help but trust that beauty does come from ashes. I have seen it before. I have seen good come from evil, and it is honest to say the acts displayed in this beloved city were pure evil. Only God can turn this around.

To the families, the friends, the victims, the first responders, the investigators, the coroners, the doctors, the nurses, the EMS, to the city of New Orleans - my heart is with you. There are some mourning deeper than others today. Lord, send your mercy and comfort. Send Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We have not been given a spirit of fear but of LOVE, POWER, & A SOUND MIND. All my love to you ♥️
