We had a successful, impromptu month of week-long summer camps that would not have been pulled off without all of our amazing volunteers and special guests!
Virtual Costume Design:
Erica Colarusso, Purdue Theatre grad and Acting Major led a costume construction lesson.
Anthony Sirk, Purdue Costume Shop Manager led an instructional video on the process of a costume designer from script read to renderings
Virtual Choreography Camp:
Carrie Francis, Guest choreographer from Lafayette Jeff dance team, last worked on CYT's "Guys and Dolls"
Brian Kocher, Guest choreographer last worked on Mainstage "Mamma Mia"
Coco Roberts, Guest student choreographer (hip hop) from WLHS
Virtual QuaranTEENed Camp:
Tommy Beardmore, Lafayette native, Purdue film grad working in film and TV (Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Chicago PD, Shameless, The Life and Death of An Unhappily Married Man, etc.); Tommy led a discussion on the process from an acting student to a successful career in TV and film
Georgia Warner, Stage, TV/film actor, professional acting coach (Romance in the Digital Age, Bridge and Tunnel): Georgia led a discussion in construction and performance of a successful monologue
Kate Lambert, Actor/ Writer/ Producer/ Improviser; began at Second City and went on to write/produce/and star in original TV series "Teachers"; Kate led a discussion in purposeful dedication to the craft of performing arts with an emphasis on the value of improvisation. She also gave us a glimpse into what the life of a producer/writer/actor looks like.
