Congratulations to our Musical Director, Matt Conaway, on being appointed director of the Purdue "All-American" Marching Band! The Lafayette Citizens Band eagerly looks forward to making more music for the community under the baton of Professor Conaway.

Due to the severity of the anticipated winter storm, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our winter concert scheduled for tomorrow, December 14th.

The safety and well-being of our musicians, staff, and valued patrons is our highest priority. We believe this necessary precaution is the most responsible decision.

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Gladys Wright.
Gladys, alongside her late husband, Al G. Wright, shared a profound and lasting history with the LCB and the entire musical community. Their dedication and passion have left an indelible mark on so many of us.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Purdue Bands & Orchestras for sharing such a lovely tribute in her honor.
Our deepest and most heartfelt condolences go out to her close friends and family during this difficult time. Her legacy will surely live on through music and remembrance.

The LCB is extremely thankful for the recognition and support from the Indiana Arts Commission, which has designated us as a 2026-2027 grant recipient. This generous grant is the lifeblood that allows us to fulfill our core purpose: providing an essential gathering and performance space for artists while simultaneously ensuring that the Greater Lafayette Community can continue to enjoy our free concert series. This grant will help with our 184th year. Thank you for choosing us this grant cycle!
