Acting Unlimited Acting Unlimited, Inc is a non profit theatre company bringing magic through theatre and theatre education to the Acadiana area.

Acting Unlimited, Inc (AUI) and Acting Unlimited Repertory Academy (AURA) strive to present quality work that gives young and less experienced actors as well as older and more experienced actors challenging and interesting work in a variety of styles. They also seek to teach those interested technical skills. In these ways, AUI and AURA hope to create an enduring legacy of theatre craft and skill to enliven professional and community theatres alike.

When Andrew Lee Vincent took his own life last year, a darkness loomed over Lafayette's once vibrant community theater scene.

Our Story

Acting Unlimited, Inc (AUI) strives to produce high quality theatre experiences. Over the last several years our focus has moved to a more supportive role to other companies and focusing on being in more of a producing partnership capacity. We are working to be a able to financially assist local theatre companies create their art and provide assistance with set design and costuming. We feel strongly about supporting the young adult theatre community, especially those in our local Performing Arts Academies and high schools. In this ways, AUI and hopes to cultivate an enduring legacy of theatre craft and skill to enliven professional and community theatres alike.
