Ashes is a dainty rectangular wrap with lace edges. It is worked in 2 different yarns: a fi*****ng weight merino and a lace weight mohair.

This wrap is huge and because we are alternating the yarn (not using them together) it uses less yarn and it is much more lightweight.

Yarn: Cotton + Merino Chic by Juniper Moon Farm

This shawl starts with a simple garter-stitch triangle. When the triangle is deep enough, leaves begin to grow down the center in a field of stockinette. The shawl finishes with a ribbon of garter stitch with pretty eyelet accents.

Although the pattern calls for aran-weight yarn, you can easily substitute worsted or DK. Just choose an appropriate needle size and repeat the lace rows until you are happy with the dimensions.
