Join local artist Tabby Stone for Artist Round Up: Still Life on Wednesday, August 19 from 6–8 PM at AcA. Draw, paint, or sketch from curated still-life displays, or bring a few objects from home for inspiration.

Materials will be available, but feel free to bring your own supplies. All mediums and experience levels are welcome.

Teachers, there’s still time to bring your creative classroom idea to life!

Arts Grants for Teachers provides funding for Lafayette and Vermilion Parish educators to create projects that give students hands-on experiences in the visual and performing arts.

Lafayette Parish educators: Applications close tomorrow, August 14 at 4 PM.

Vermilion Parish educators: You have until September 4 at 4 PM to apply.

From new arts experiences to projects that connect the arts with other subjects, this funding is designed to help teachers make creative ideas possible in the classroom.
