“Honeybee!”🐝 ( #4)

She is made from welded reclaimed steel: motorcycle cogs, bike gears, a rotor, various cutlery, some bars I found in the Moab desert, amber marble eyes.

I interpreted representations of a weather vane, a honeycomb, flight, pollination and a sundial.

“Royal” (Elk/Wapiti, the Forest King) is featured in and on the cover of ‘s summer issue!

I had a wonderful conversation with - a journalist with Nat Geo and Smithsonian cred! We shared love for mythology, nature and art. So grateful to have my art featured in a super fun publication. Thanks for the support! Much love!

“Luna Mothra” (3.0!)
The Mish ‘s steel deity is back after the iconic tree behind her blew over due to fierce winds! The tree broke her neck, her antennae, her hair and wing, but she held it up! (See slide 2) I spent a beautiful day and 8 hours at the Mish repairing and shining her up! She is ready for another great season of music and adventure! Please visit her and the lovely staff this summer!
