The launch was killer - and Arts Fest was a blast! Missy (or Ms. Segura to you JWJ kids) “cut” the ceremonial paper chain to officially mark the opening of our second Art Closet location! ✨🫟🎨

I peeked inside after Arts Fest was done, and it was already FILLED with new and gently used art supplies - so be sure to bring some you are done with and swap them out for something new (or new to you) from inside!

Our hearts are as full as the Art Closet! 💚

Now who has a spot for the NEXT one? 👀

It’s happening! Omg, it’s really happening! 🎉

Come celebrate the official launch of a brand new Art Closet THIS SATURDAY at 9:45am, right out front of J. Wallace James Elementary!

We’ll have art supplies in the art closet and you can bring your donations to add, too!

And if you want to stick around, the JWJ annual Arts Fest begins at 10 and features art and music demonstrations, , , fun jumps, face painting, and MORE! 🥳🎈🎨🫟

We have been busy prepping for our collaboration with JW James Elementary, the arts academy for Lafayette Parish Schools, including getting to design and make this cutie pie of a donation box… stay tuned 📺 for more updates!
