THIS WEEK IN PERU!

The Taste of the Illinois Valley returns to Peru's Centennial Park on Friday, July 31!

Brushville, sponsored by Shaw Local Radio, kicks things off on Friday evening from 6:30-9:30pm, with food vendors opening at 5pm, and the FREE Kids Zone! Kids Zone on Friday begins and 5pm and closes at 9pm. The Peru CSO will be bartending!

Dreamwave Wrestling is back on Saturday afternoon beginning at 1pm! Kids Zone opens at 4pm Saturday, with live music beginning at 6:30! These live music performances are ones you will not want to miss out on! The United Way will be your featured bartenders!

Make plans to join us on Friday, July 31 and Saturday, August 1 for food, cold beverages, fun and great entertainment! Don't forget to get in on the 50/50 raffle!

Months of planning have led to this, and we’re excited to officially share the schedule for Ladd Daze 2026!

Whether you’re coming for the live music, fireworks at Kennedy Park, vendor show, 5K, Big Truck Show, Car Show, great food, beer garden, or family activities, we hope you’ll join us for a fun-filled weekend as we celebrate America’s 250th Birthday right here in Ladd.

Family-Friendly Pricing
• Admission to Ladd Daze is FREE.
• Beer Garden Wristbands (21+): $5 per day
• Kids Activity Wristbands: $10 per day or $20 for the weekend
• Families purchasing three or more Kids Weekend Passes receive $5 off each child’s weekend pass, making them just $15 each.
